The main building (bonchae) and detached house (byeolchae) are designed in a traditional 'ㄷ'-shaped layout, surrounding a serene courtyard adorned with blooming flowers, well-kept bonsai, and a tiled wall engraved with Korean motifs such as deer and pine trees.

Renovated and opened as a guesthouse in September 2011, the Moon Guesthouse blends traditional elements like red clay walls and hanji (Korean paper) with modern comforts such as air-conditioning and underfloor heating (ondol). For larger groups or special events, the bonchae's unhyeondang can be transformed into a spacious venue by opening the sliding doors (Bunhapmun), making it an ideal location for workshops or cultural events.
