Netflix has confirmed the production of Confessions of the Guilty with an impressive cast including Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, Park Hae-soo, and Jin Sun-kyu.

Confessions of the Guilty is a mystery thriller that revolves around 'Yoon Soo', who is accused of murdering her husband, and the enigmatic figure known as 'Mo Eum', and the events that unfold between these two secretive characters.

The series is highly anticipated as it is directed by Lee Jung-hyo, known for his stylish direction in hit series such as Netflix’s Diva, [Crash Landing on You], [The Good Wife], as well as [Romance Is a Bonus Book], [Need Romance], and [Life on Mars]. The screenplay is written by Kwon Jong-kwan, who directed and wrote the films Special Investigation: The Death Row Letter and Sad Movie, further raising expectations.

Particularly, the fiery acting chemistry between Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun has captured public interest. Jeon Do-yeon will play 'Ahn Yoon-soo', who struggles to clear her name after being falsely accused of murdering her husband.
